I know normal people don't usually honor attempted assassins but we're not like normal people. We're horrible people.
On March 30, 1981 some rando named John Hinckley Jr. shot the president. Don't worry, he lived. To this day we honor former President Regan because he was our first fake TV president and we honor horrible people in this group.
But there was one person even more horrible than Ronald Regan that day and it was this assassin creep. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity because he did it for an underaged actress. While I agree that pedophilia is a mental illness, I didn't know it was an actual excuse for treason. So kudos to this creeper for totally getting away with it. He was released in 2015 so I'm sure he's in this group by now.
